- i've been playing guitar for over 20 years, will never stop learning. went to Musician's Institute in hollywood, recorded at Capitol records a couple of times, and a lot of home studios. played for crowds of thousands, done some touring; northern Cali, newYork, east coast, England, Scotland, Van Nuys, etc...i play gigs doing pop, rock, funk, and blues styles, covers and originals regularly in the L.A. area. i've played/jammed with musicians from the bands of Gladys Night, Rod Stewart, Kool and the Gang, Peter Gabriel, Berlin, Tom Petty, Frank Zappa, GooGooDolls, theRembrants, Venessa Carlton, theRomantics, etc..etc.. catalog: i've got a few hundred songs in my computer that i use for gigs and give to my students; mostly pop, rock, and contemporary christian. and a bunch of jazz charts at home as well. i post up charts of songs every now and then at Charting Addict my own music can be found on iTunes - bands name is "theMcCools" and our myspace site is www.myspace.com/themccools
